Patricia Bonaguro

University of Chicago Rustandy Board Fellow

Patrica is currently a part-time MBA student at University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. She is planning to graduate in June 2023 with concentrations in General Management, Finance, Strategy, Entrepreneurship, and Operations. She works full-time as the Financial Project Manager on the Global Sustainability Team at Crown Holdings Inc. Crown is a manufacturing company of packaging – most notably aluminum beverage cans and steel food cans. Patricia started with the company in 2014 as an analytical chemist in the R&D division and transitioned to sustainability in 2021.

Her current responsibilities include: overseeing external reporting, working on strategy and policies within various functions of the organization, managing a dedicated sustainability capex budget, and establishing and maintaining a charitable giving program.

Outside of work and school, Patricia loves to run, travel and spend time with her family and friends. She grew up in the southwest suburbs of Chicago (Orland Park), got her undergrad degree from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and has lived in Chicago for the past 7 years.
