Giving back can look a variety of ways.

This quarter’s special Catalyst feature is a profile on newly appointed Board of Directors member, Patrick Thomas and his journey in the ISTC community.

As a long time mentor and Director of Engineering at Milwaukee Tool, Patrick leverages his expertise in collaboration, project management, and communication to help those around him. He’s doing what he can to build towards a better Illinois and encouraging others to do the same with their own strengths.

“In an environment that’s changing like I’ve witnessed in the last 25 years, we will not stay competitive unless we continue to educate the next set of students and guide them so that when we are old, they are being good stewards of society.”
