Kate Calabra

Interim CEO, Coalition

Kate is serving as the Interim CEO of the Illinois Science and Technology Coalition. Kate has a professional history of stakeholder engagement and business development with a focus on cross-sector collaboration and technology. Kate has held previous positions at Verizon, City Tech Collaborative, American Planning Association, and Metropolitan Planning Council. 

Kate has a Graduate Certificate in Community Outreach and Engagement from Michigan State University as well as a Bachelors in Public Policy and a Bachelors in Community Psychology from DePaul University. She serves as Associate Board Co-chair for Housing Opportunities for Women.

Kate lives in North Center with her giant dog, Allen, aka “The Alderman.”
