Robert Fleming

Vice President, Program Management, Land and Avionics C4ISR, Northrop Grumman Corporation

As Director of Strategic Planning for the Land and Self Protection Systems Division, headquartered in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, Dr. Fleming is responsible for the division’s strategy, leadership and direction on key pursuits, mergers and acquisitions and internal investment. This $2billion+ division consists of seven strategic business units pursuing a broad range of domestic, Department of Defense and international business segments varying from ground-based radar to cockpits and electronic warfare systems.

Prior to joining Northrop Grumman Corporation, Dr. Fleming spent seven years as a technical consultant on a wide range of projects ranging from distributed electronic media systems to modeling real-time futures markets on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Robert holds a bachelor’s and doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. He is a graduate of the Harvard Business School, General Management Program and also holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
